ANNA V.’s ingenious Dark Energy ΕP releases on VOLTAGE
Voltage’s own ANNA V. (Suara, Mood, Elevate) releases an emotional record and sets the floor on fire!
ANNA V. Returns to her own label, this time presenting an emotional record.
Diversity is in her mindset and this EP could not escape the general rule. Combining elements from so many different styles, like Acid, Progressive, Trance, even cinematic soundscapes (a typical characteristic in her music), but built around a solid Techno groove, this EP brings out emotions and images.
Producing in an entirely new, non-linear workflow, a pattern she developed during the years, Anna has achieved to create 2 incredible bangers filled with never before heard sounds and ingenious engineering through hardware synths and her own recordings.
From a technical aspect the low end was manifested using a new compression method Anna developed, a one she calls "inverted limiting compression", allowing the bass harmonics to pump out while the edge and rumble become sturdy and solid, putting to test every single sound system.
Dark Energy is a musical, acid like track created to lift large crowds up in the air with its relentless rhythm as well as it's sudden changes with clever breaks and elements like her own breathing in the main break.
Anthem for a Lost Soul is pure sentiment. Moody and melancholic, was created in memory of one of her friend’s son, who left at a very young age. Gigantic pads and basses combine, where sentiment increases through the freestyle live performance of her in the synths while recording, slightly off quantising to give the track a “human touch”.
There was no better home for these originals, other than her own, so ANNA returns to her own label, this time talking to us, from her heart.

LEVT’s “THE BEAST” releases on VOLTAGE on June 3 including an electrifying remix by Felix Kröcher!
VOLTAGE Records welcomes German producer LEVT with an incredible original named “The Beast”. This is a dark, intense track based on tonal fluctuations and a chord pattern that travels through a vivid rhythmical groove.
Melodic, consonant and harmonious, it flows through the listener creating amorphous sets of feelings, making positive and negative spikes of mood, generating a “perfectly imperfect” balance.
LEVT has created something really unique, something rare: A track that spawns images of time-lapse voyages in mind, a cinematic scent for a rhythmic soundtrack that starts from a specific point of origin and ends at a precise destination.
This is a intelligent track, a mood affecting tune that will lock itself in your brain after you listen to it just for once.
Felix Kröcher’s work on the remixed version is simply electrifying! The accomplished German producer has created a sophisticated version of the original, taking it to new heights!
Nostalgic, moody and definitely intense, it approaches LEVT’s original composition in a different way. The musical elements combined in this ingeniously produced original maintain the original’s mood shifting patterns, but in this case the feelings are completely different.
The track “runs” throughout its duration and the breaks only give time to the listener to catch a breath up to the moment that the bass majestically returns to keep the tune in pace and rock the floor once more!

2 years after our first release, VOLTAGE welcomes it's own, ANNA V. for her first solo record on the label. Anna is no stranger to originality and uniqueness when it comes to her music. And her single 'Quantum Entanglement' will not deviate from that rule. 100% hardware produced, enriched with spices from classic Techno tracks from the 90's, nostalgic and spacey, 'Quantum Entanglement' is an uncommon track composed with the origins of authentic Techno in mind.
Sturdy bass, muscular bassline and haunting choirs that run through the entire track, create an exceptional atmosphere custom made by the Italian / Greek producer for those who desire to make a difference in their performances.
And what better way to make this release even more unique than showcasing a remix from Techno Legend Joey Beltram. Few people know the game better than him, he's one of the pioneers in Techno as we know it today, so the New Yorker went back to the basics for this one. Built around the original's choirs, it later transforms to a 'typical Joey Beltram' groove pattern, getting an entirely new direction and character. Basses are being remodelled, synth shots emerge and along with them, fresh character is born throughout the remix's flow. The outcome is crisp, strong and definitely unlike any other track you've heard for quite some time.

Yan Oxygen returns to VOLTAGE Records with a 2-tracker that's flooded with diversity.
'Photon' is dark and intense. Based on haunting narrating vocals, huge bass pads and seqs with a pinch of acid, this track is created to create an effect on demanding crowds.
'About...' describes a musical journey. Pads, sidechains, drones and razor-sharp bass leads combine, creating an atmosphere between melodic and dark techno, thus compiling a truly unique original.
